Maverick is a bright, energetic boy who lights up every room with his smile. Recently diagnosed with neuroblastoma, he’s already begun treatment with remarkable strength and bravery. The cancer has spread to his bones, and the road ahead will include ongoing chemo, clinic visits, and hospital stays. Through it all, Maverick continues to inspire everyone around him with his courage, resilience, and joy.

What Is Neuroblastoma?
According to the American Cancer Society: Neuroblastoma is a rare cancer that develops from immature nerve cells, most often affecting infants and young children. It usually starts in the adrenal glands above the kidneys but can also form in the chest, abdomen, or spine. Because it’s often diagnosed after it has spread, treatment typically involves chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and sometimes immunotherapy.
